Hello! I am a fourth year Ph.D student in the Biostatistics department at the University of Michigan. Currently, I am working on problems related to latent variable estimation in the presence of measurement error, with applications in verbal autopsy, modeling biomarker trajectories for predicting disease risk, and detecting wildlife trafficking flows.
I graduated from the University of Washington in 2016 with degrees in Economics and Mathematics. Between undergraduate and graduate studies, I worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance and the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation. In 2020, I received my M.S. in Biostatistics from the University of Michigan.
Some of my non-academic hobbies are rock climbing, Bundesliga, and veganizing recipes. I also enjoy making custom Pokemon-themed ggplot palettes.
